The maintenance of shot blasting machine
Check the daily work diary, confirm the working status of the shot blasting machine before every shift, make sure that the work is orderly, the responsibilities are clear, the responsibilities are assigned to specific people, and the records can be checked;
After the daily work is completed, the steel abrasive scattered on the ground shall be cleaned up in time, and the power and the air source shall be cut off;
Before each maintenance, make sure cut-off the power, the sign of “Maintenance states” is obviously and clear; if you need someone to inspect and repair inside the shot blasting machine, set up a notice board in a conspicuous position, and the equipment must be in a safe control state and be looked after by someone;
Daily maintenance of shot blasting machine:
- Check whether the fixing bolts on all shot blasters and motors are loose. If they are loose, they should be tightened immediately.
- Check the wear condition of the wearing parts in the shot blasting turbines and the protective liners of the shot blasting chamber, and replace the worn parts in time.
- Check the blades, they must be replaced when they are half worn. (make sure replace by 1 group/8 pieces, not just one piece at a time)
- Check whether the pointer position of deflector is correct.
- Checks whether the inspect doors of shot blasting room are closed tightly.
- Whether there is air leakage in the dust collect pipe, and whether there is dust-residues or damage of the filter bag inside of the dust collector.
- Whether there are sediments and other debris on the screw shell and filter screen of the separator, remove them in time.
- Check whether the flow curtain of the separator is even and whether it forms a full curtain.
- Whether the magnetic-electronically controlled abrasive supply valve is closed.
- Check whether the status of each limit switch and proximity switch is normal.
- Check whether the working status of each signal indicator of the control console is normal.
- Check whether the current of the shot blasting motor is within the rated range.
- Clean the dust on the electric control box.
- Check the wear of the chute tube gasket, the rubber guard plate of the working door and the top seal to avoid the loss of steel shot.
- Remove the debris on the bottom plate grid to ensure the recovery of steel shots.
- Check whether the total amount of steel shots in the shot abrasive silo is sufficient, if not enough, add them regularly.
Weekly maintenance of shot blasting machine:
- Check the impellor, if the wear exceeds 3mm, replace it.
- Check the deflector and replace it when the opening is larger than 6mm.
- Check whether the protective liners of the shot wheel is severely worn and misplaced.
- Check the tension of the V-belt of the shot blaster, it should be able to press inward about 10mm, otherwise it should be adjusted.
- Check the wear of the partitions and slide rails, and replace them if necessary.
- Check whether there are qualified steel shots in the fine powder tube and bulk tube that can be recycled.
- Check whether the belt tension, bolts and joints of the elevator are suitable, whether they are off-track or worn.
- Check the screw conveyor for abnormal material and wear condition.
- Check the grid of the bottom plate, and fix any loopholes in time.
- Check the casing joints to avoid air and dust leakage.
- Check the dust on the filter cartridge of the dust collector, and use the pulse blowback mechanism in time.
- Lubricate the bearing seat of the blower once.
- Empty the air compressor, gas storage tank, and oil-water separator once.
Monthly maintenance of shot blasting machine:
- Check and adjust the gate valve, open and close to meet the current value of the shot blasting motor from 25A to 30A.
- Adjust the tightness of the transmission chain and provide lubrication.
- Check and adjust the belt tightness of the bucket elevator; check and tighten the hopper bolts.
- Check the lubricating oil of the reducer. If it is lower than the specified oil level, add the corresponding grease.
- Check the contact state of each AC contactor and the switch, and perform dust blowing and cleaning.
- Check whether the wires and cables of the power supply and control part are loose and should be tightened.
- Test each motor separately, listen to whether the sound is normal, and see the no-load current. Each motor should be no less than 5 minutes.
- Check the wear and fixation of the fan and air duct.
- Add 2# calcium-based grease once a month to the bearing seats at both ends of the elevator, separator, and screw conveyor.
- Change the oil of the air compressor once a month.
Quarterly maintenance of shot blasting machine:
- Check the condition of the bearings and electric control box, and add lubricate grease.
- Check the wear condition of the wear protection liners of the shot blasting machine.
- Replace the blower main shaft bearing and shot blasting motor bearing with new high-speed lubricate grease.
- Check the tightness of the fixing bolts and flange connections of all motors, reducers, fans, and screw conveyors.
Annual maintenance of shot blasting machine
- Check the lubrication of all bearings (including motor bearings) and add new lubricate grease.
- Replace or weld repair the main chamber body guard liners.
- Check the reliability of the contact between the PLC and the inverter.
- Check whether the ammeter is accurate.
- Check the filter element of the dust collector. If damaged, replace it. If there is too much dust, use an air gun to clean it.
- Perform necessary dredging and repair of the air duct.
